Auditions

Auditions for the 2008-2009 academic year began last April. Dr. Staheli is hearing auditions by special appointment during the summer months and will be available for audition appointments on Thursday afternoon, Friday, and Saturday, August 28-30, 2008. Audition information is posted by his office door, E334 HFAC.

Students who have never sung with BYU Concert Choir or BYU-I Collegiate Singers or Concert Chorale will need to sing a preliminary audition first before arranging an audition appointment with Dr. Staheli. Sign-up sheets for all preliminary auditions will be posted on Monday, August 25, on the large bulletin board at the end of the hall on the 3rd floor, E wing, of the Harris Fine Arts Center.

For an audition with Dr. Staheli, you should be prepared with a piece to sing. A hymn will do nicely if you do not have an art song. No arias, please. We need to hear your best choir voice. An accompanist will be provided.
