Combined Choirs and Orchestra: Songs of Praise and Remembrance

In the tradition of the award winning holiday specials A Celebration of Christmas and A Thanksgiving of American Folk Hymns, comes Brigham Young University’s newest offering, Songs of Praise and Remembrance: A Memorial Day Celebration. Taped before a live audience, this program features exceptional production values, film-quality lighting and sets, and breathtaking images of 600 singers and 80 instrumentalists performing beloved songs and folk hymns especially arranged for this Memorial Day special. Performing are four choirs from BYU’s acclaimed School of Music, under the direction of internationally recognized conductors and composers Ronald Staheli and Mack Wilberg, with Bryce Rytting and Cherilyn Worthen. Available as CD or video.
