Today was a wonderful Sabbath. We were all split between 3 wards, but good reports have come from everyone with whom I've spoken. Singers presented a special musical number during the Sacrament Meeting of each ward, and probably in just about every other meeting of the day as well if past experience is any indicator. It is always a highlight of the tour to meet with the LDS members, and feel their strength no matter what their country. It is also a great reminder of how diverse the Church membership is.
During the afternoon, some napped, all were fed, some saw a little bit of Liverpool, some visited with and enjoyed their host families. Here are a couple of photos, but these are not really representative of the area since we mostly saw the stake centre today.
Our fireside tonight was the last of tour. Our speakers were very good, and the music beautiful. (Would I say anything else, now really? But it truly was.) The chapel was just about full, and it was easy to see from the reactions and conversations afterward that the congregation loved it.
