Last night, we said goodbye to our dear Sandefur. We loved having her on tour with us!
To celebrate the competition, all of the participating choirs gathered for dinner and dancing. We loved partying with people from all over the world!
Monday was a long travel day. After our competition victory, we departed Thessaloniki for Venice at about 10am. Most Singers had to check their carry-on bags due to European luggage restrictions, but everything was retrieved successfully.
Two planes later, we arrived safely and were greeted by our new bus driver and very fancy bus. This one has a fridge with bottled water, USB ports, and highly functional air conditioning. Score!
After a long travel day, we were grateful to settle into our hotel and have a tasty group meal. After dinner, Dr. Crane led us in a rehearsal for some pieces we will perform with a choir in Switzerland.
We look forward to exploring Venice tomorrow!
