Sunday, May 4 - Rome

Today the choir attended church at the chapel they sang in last evening. As has been mentioned, they found out that over 70 of the audience last night were not members of the Latter-Day Saint Church—we were pleased to reach a wider audience. It looked as if all of them were thrilled with the concert.

BYU Singers sang “I Am a Child of God” at the end of the sacrament meeting.

The choir was able to pose in front of the temple for a “family portrait” before they took off, and also were given a tour of the Visitors Center which they quite enjoyed.

Afterwards, they changed clothes and roamed Rome in an attempt to see as many of the famous sites as they possibly could.

The choir gathered towards dusk at a pre-selected spot to begin filming a music video.

Nick Sales, the videographer/photographer with the tour, is kindly allowing me to use his photos when he catches things and people I did not. Between the two of us, you’re seeing the tour!
